5/13/2022 17:44 Dept 5 was dispatched to 931 Ladd Rd, Westfield Township to the scene of an ALS medical incident, reported as a garden tractor rollover, one patient self-extricated. Squad 5-18 and Chief 5 responded, with Chief requesting additional support from Engine 5-3 which responded shortly thereafter. Ambulance 26-7 arrived on-scene shortly thereafter, and crews from D26 and D5 loaded the patient, at which time care was transferred to 26-7. Due to patient signs and symptoms, mechanism of injury and the nature of the incident as it progressed, medical personnel on-scene determined that transport to trauma center via aeromed was appropriate. LifeNet 7-7 accepted the call. Engine 5-3 set up a landing zone at Electri-cord Manufacturing. All Dept 5 units were in quarters and available at 20:07.
