This week the Building and Grounds Committee was in communications with Forge Fire and Co, the company that is designing and constructing the burn building. They recommitted to a delivery window of Q4 2025. Given this commitment holds, we expect to see delivery of the building by the end of the year. This will likely put our first usage of the building out until Spring 2026.
President Andrew Adams, Vice President Todd Streeter, and 3rd Asst. Chief Kyle Mack attended a meeting of the Tioga County Association of Boroughs this week. Streeter and Adams provided a presentation on the burn building and a progress update. The association presented Crary Hose with a check for $1,000 as a donation earmarked to the Training Center project.
The department also received a donation from Lawrenceville Volunteer Fire Department in the amount of $500. Thank you!
Down at the Training Center, preparation is underway for asphalt paving of the access road. Asphalt should be in place in the coming weeks.
Thank you to everyone for the outpouring of community support. Be it fellow fire departments, elected officials, or our beloved neighbors and citizens of Tioga County; so many people are stepping up and helping this project. We can’t thank you enough.
