DISPATCH 10/9/21 @ 09:31 – 250 Race Street Apt 113
Dept 5 (Crary Hose), Dept 16 (Sabinsville) and Dept 26 (Sabinsville Ambulance) were dispatched to the above location to the scene of a reported structure fire. Engine 5-3, Squad 5-18, Engine 16-2, Patrol 16-4 and Ambulance 26-7 responded. Chief 5 immediately asked to dispatch Dept 3 (Elkland) for RIT assignment. On first arrival, Chief 5-20 found that the occupant had fallen. During the fall, a stovetop burner was turned on accidentally and the occupant could not make egress. 5-20 reported smoke but no fire, and recalled Dept 3. Crews ventilated the building and Squad 5-18 and Ambulance 26-7 provided patient care. No injuries were reported. Chief 5 indicated that he was terminating command and all Dept 5 units were returning available at 10:06.
