We have had an excellent week of fundraising for our Live Burn Training Center project. The project committee sent out letters to all fire departments in the area asking for donations to the project, and they started showing up this week. The following departments made generous donations this week:
- Harrison Twp Fire Department
- Morris Fire Department
- Big Elm Fire Department
Thank you to all of our fellow firefighters for donating, supporting our raffles, and helping us out in making this goal a reality. We look forward to training with you in our new facility!
Thank you to Glenn Barnes for your personal donation! The Westfield Rod and Gun Club is a perennial supporter of Crary Hose, but they stepped up big time with a sizable donation to this project. We can’t thank them enough! We also received a check for $75,000 from the Tioga County Commissioners via the Act 13 unconventional gas well impact funds account! This donation was HUGE! With the raffles that we held in January and February, not including the Tractor raffle which is still pending, Crary Hose was able to allocate $4,157.97 to the building!
