INCIDENT DESC : Structure Fire – 1st Alarm
LOCATION : 46 Stiles Rd. Clymer Township
2/10/2025 @ 09:55 Crary Hose was dispatched auto aid with Clymer Hose, Chatham Twp and Sabinsville Ambulance to 46 Stiles Rd. Clymer Township to the scene of a structure fire, residential, multiple calls of smoke and flame showing. Chief 16 Todd Swimley requested second alarm due to multiple reports, bringing additional dispatches for in Galeton, Knoxville and County Coordinators. Engine 16-1 and Patrol 16-4 arrived with fire on division one extending to division two. Crews went to work with multiple hand lines, Tanker 5-5 arrived established water supply why the crew assisted with fire suppression. Tanker 17-5 arrived supplying water and laying 5″ line to Rt 349 where and drop tank was deployed for main water supply. Command requested additional Tankers from Harrison Valley and Germania, Patrol 17-4 set up secondary water supply from creek nearby. Tankers filled at Westfield pump house set up by Borough Foreman Dave Nudd. Standby crews were dispatched, Elkland, Genesee and Troupsburg, with Elkland moving up to the scene. Fire was brought under control quickly. Great work by all, lead competently by Chief 16.
