The 2021 Westfield Parade of lights was held on Friday, 12/10/2021 at 6:0PM. A large crowd of attendees gathered to watch the 25 entries in the parade show off their decorations, costumes, vehicles and talents. The parade was sponsored by the Crary Hose Company, who organized, publicized and staffed the event, as well as purchased the parade awards. The committee that organized the event was chaired by Fire Police Captain Mike James. Chief 5-10 Shawn Ianson provided music and commentary as he announced each entry as it passed the Masonic Temple. Judges for the awards were Mary Earle, Fawn James, and Sue Streeter. Traffic was managed by members of the Tioga County Fire Police Association.
Highlights from the night included musical performances by the Cowanesque Valley High School Band and Westfield Area Elementary Chorus, a living Nativity float by the Headwaters FFA Chapter from Northern Potter High School, a Harley hauling the Grinch, numerous fire and medical apparatus including Harrison Valley’s new Rescue 2028, and Santa Claus himself!
